DESIGNED BY SLINGSHOT. BUILT BY YOU.

After three years of extensive research and development, Slingshot is proud to introduce their Phantasm Carbon Hydrofoil system. For the ultimate selection, they have split the foil packages into two choices; the Masts and the Lower Combinations. The Lower Combinations or “Lowers” are the Front Wing, the fuselage, and the Stabilizer everything that sits under the water.

The team at Slingshot developed each lower combination to deliver the best user experience inside your chosen sports category. These highly tuned lower combinations have been handpicked by their design team to be the perfect foil solution for you.

Slingshot has masts for every rider, no matter the ability, sport, or riding style. They focused on building the stiffest and highest performing masts in the industry. Whether you are looking for carbon or aluminum, they are setting the standard for quality and performance.

With 12 new lower Phantasm foil packages spanning 6 sport categories, Slingshot’s Phantasm lineup is the largest collection of carbon foils under one brand. These highly tuned lower combinations have been handpicked by our Slingshot design team to be the perfect foil solution for you. Start by choosing your mast and then selecting your Lower Combination. The Slingshot Phantasm line allows you to custom-build your setup based on your sport, desired performance, and price. Below, Wyatt Miller walks you through how to pick the best hydrofoil for you, then scroll down for more information on the foil solution for your specific discipline.

YOUR KITE FOIL SOLUTION

The PFI 633/710 package is an all-time favorite. It’s easy and safe to learn on and offers amazing versatility as you progress. ”“ Alex Fox (Kite Brand Manager)

PFI 633/710 (1270 cm2) Lower Package

Progression / Stability / Float

The Phantasm Freeride Infinity (PFI) 633/710 (1270 cm2) Lower Package features a larger, lower aspect front wing that gives it tons of lift, stability, and dynamic performance at lower speeds. This package is built with the PS 400 carbon rear stabilizer and 710 fuse. The PFI 633 package was built to provide you with maximum freeride performance as the most predictable and user-friendly foil on the market.

At higher speeds, the PFI 633 will track and retain it’s stability, which aids in setting up for jibes and tacks and also prevents over-foiling. The larger surface area (1270 cm2) of the PFI 633 Front Wing, combined with the efficiency of carbon means it has a huge wind and speed range. The wing’s unique inverted gull shape provides a crazy level of dynamic carving control and a self-centering flight you have to feel to believe.

If you have the need for speed and crave crazy agility the PTM 684 is the next step up in your kite foil packages. Alex Fox (Kite Brand Manager)

PTM 684/710 (952 cm2) Lower Package

The Phantasm Technical Mastery (PTM) 684/710 (952 cm2) Lower Package was developed by Slingshot’s design team using the feedback from Phantasm riders worldwide. Riders who are looking for speed and agility, but still want great confidence-inspiring stability should look no further than the PTM 684 (952 cm2) Lower combination. This package of PTM 684 Front Wing, PS 400 Rear Stabilizer and 710 Fuse is by far the most all-around performance foil set-up Slingshot makes.

YOUR WING FOIL SOLUTION

The high aspect Phantasm PTM 926 wing provides the early lift, efficient glide, and effective pumping that all wingers are looking for. The 926 allows riders to push their skills in the widest range of wind and swell conditions, making for a one wing quiver. Wyatt Miller  (Wing Brand Manager)
PTM 926/710 (1263 cm2) Lower Package

Glide / Pump / Connect

The high-aspect PTM 926 wing (1263 cm2), matched in this package with the 710 fuse and 400 rear stabilizer, is a pumping machine that’s the best solution for wing surfing but also works for Wake and SUP. It slices through the backside of a swell like butter, helping you to reach the next face and continue your glide. It soaks up lift from even the smallest bumps allowing you to stand tall and relaxed, making one-foot swells feel like big open-ocean rollers. Ready to throw on the straps and take to the air? The PTM 926 stands ready to deliver game-changing pop and silky-smooth landings. The wide 926mm wingspan gives incredible rail-to-rail stability in transitions, aiding the fancy footwork involved in tacks and tricks.

THE NEXT PINNACLE IN WING FOIL

When your skills and the wind conditions are peaking you will want to reach for the smaller PTM 730 wing. It takes significantly more board speed to lift, but once on foil the compact wing span makes for incredibly tight carving ability, with an astounding amount of float and glide for its size. The speed and jumping ability of this wing are next level. Wyatt Miller  (Wing Brand Manager)
PTM 730/710 (655 cm2) Lower Package

Speed / Glide / Carve

The PTM 730 will accelerate and track at higher speeds to deliver a rock solid platform for unmatched glide and stability for long drawn out jibes and tacks. The larger span (655 cm2) of the PTM 730 front wing and its High Aspect shape and design yields the perfect blend of speed and tracking. If you are looking for the perfect balance of speed and stability the PTM will deliver all of the performance you need and more. The wing’s unique inverted gull wing shape not only provides insane speed but also delivers a game-changing self-leveling flight that governs your height no matter how fast you go.

YOUR WAKE FOIL SOLUTION

Surf foiling behind the boat is typically the slowest speed of all the disciplines which creates unique challenges and benefits. The preferred wing choice for behind the boat is our lower-aspect PFI range. The large surface areas create lift and stability at the slowest of speeds, and the smaller wingspans fit nicely into the smaller power pockets of the waves and allows you to turn tight / carve hard without breaching wingtips. They’re simply more maneuverable / “shreddable” at slow speeds. For riders 180 lbs + we recommend the PFI 835, and for riders less than 180 lbs we recommend the PFI 730. Jeff Mckee (Wake Brand Manager)

PFI 835/710 (2030 cm2) Lower Package

Progression / Stability / Float

The PFI 835/710 Lower Package combination is a high-performance lower aspect (2030 cm2) front wing that gives it tons of lift, stability, and dynamic performance. At low speeds, it delivers large amounts of lift and foiling efficiency. The front wing’s unique inverted gull shape provides a crazy level of dynamic carving control and a self-centering flight that makes foiling both predictable and addicting. The PFI 835/710 Lower Package combination is ideal for foilers in the 175-225lb + weight range. From speeds of roughly 5-15 mph and wave heights of 1-5 ft, this lower package is your ticket for all around surf performance.

THE NEXT PINNACLE IN WAKESURF FOIL

For those looking to explore high aspect wing designs we recommend the PTM 926. This wing is an excellent glider / pumper, but it’s larger wingspan makes it slightly less maneuverable than the PFI range. It also takes a little more speed to get flying (around 7-9 mph vs. the PFI which flies around 3-5 mph) an pumps more efficiently at high speeds. Jeff Mckee (Wake Brand Manager)

PTM 926/710 Lower Package

Pump / Glide / Carve

The Phantasm Technical Mastery (PTM) high-aspect (1263 cm2) 926 wing is a pumping machine that retains smooth turning ability and generates an enlightening amount of lift from any carve. Matched with the 710 fuse and 400 rear stabilizer, this is a great setup for Wing, Wake and SUP.

YOUR WIND FOIL SOLUTION

The PFI 730 is a lower aspect wing that provides plenty of surface area to get you up on foil while retaining the compact wingspan that delivers its highly reactive carving performance. This front wing was designed specifically to make your windfoil setup quick and playful in the widest range of wind conditions. Wyatt Miller (Windsurf Brand Manager)

PFI 730_872 Lower Package

Carve / Jump / Fly

Slingshot wanted the perfect lower for maneuver-oriented windsurf foiling. The result is this package of PFI 730 Front Wing, PS 400 Rear Stabilizer and 872 Fuse. The Performance Freeride Infinity (PFI) 730 front wing is a polished, refined and scaled-down version of our most popular wing to date, the Infinity 76. It delivers better pumping, better jumping, higher top speed and tighter radius carves, all while retaining that shaped-in downforce in the wingtips, which prevents you from over-foiling at high speed. The 872 Fuse is the perfect blend of stability and reactiveness, and the PS 400 Rear Stabilizer gets going in light winds and delivers amazing efficiency.

THE NEXT PINNACLE IN WIND FOIL

If you are looking for even more efficiency and want to be able to glide through the lightest lulls without dropping off foil, the high aspect PTM 926 wing offers unparalleled glide for that zero friction feel. Wyatt Miller (Windsurf Brand Manager)

PTM 926/872 Lower Package

Glide / Pump / Connect

Once you are up and foiling, the Phantasm Technical Mastery (PTM) 926/872 Lower Package delivers glide through the lightest lull and soaks up energy from the tiniest swell. The wide wingspan of 926mm gives you incredible rail to rail stability in transitions and helps balance your fancy footwork for carving tricks.

YOUR SURF FOIL SOLUTION

If you are like most prone foilers looking to make the most out of small swell and be able to pump easily back out to the next wave, the PTM 926 is the standout choice. The low speed lift and great forward traction delivered from each pump and carve of your board will have you running laps around the pack. Jeff Mckee (Surf Brand Manager)

THE NEXT TWO PINNACLES IN SURF FOIL

INTERMEDIATE  When the swell increases to a medium size and you find yourself dropping in a bit the PFI 730 wing with its built in downforce in the wingtips will help prevent you from over foiling. The lower aspect shape and compact wingspan allow the rider to make quicker more committed carves, blowing out a wingtip on the face while still retaining control over the board as if they had a solid rail in the water. Jeff Mckee (Surf Brand Manager)

PFI 730_710 Lower Package

Versatility / Stability / Carving

The PFI 730/710 Lower Package combination is a high-performance lower aspect front wing that gives it tons of lift, stability, and dynamic performance. At low speeds, it delivers lift and foiling efficiency and at higher speeds, PFI 730 will track and maintain its stability which aids in turns and traditions but also will prevent over-foiling. The front wing’s unique inverted gull shape provides a crazy level of dynamic carving control and a self-centering flight that makes foiling both predictable and addicting. The PFI 730/710 Lower Package combination was built to provide you with maximum free ride performance.
