All in all, a pretty good night! Solid ebb and good breeze filled into the beach making for some excellent racing conditions. Most of the fleet hit the water with 9m kites for the first race, as the night went on some switched to 11m after the first race and others after the second and some did not switch it up at all. In the end, bigger kites prevailed but the wind proved steady so anything worked.Joey Pasquali (2,1,2) proving consistent wins took the night. 2nd, 3rd and 4th on the night was quite a battle. Stefaans Viljoen (5,2,3), Daniela Moroz (3,4,4) and Seth Besse (4,3,5); 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively, were tied going into the final race. In the end, Seth Besse buckled tactically 100 yards from the finish and gave it to Daniela. 2nd through 4th place finished all three races within 30 seconds of each other making every decision on the water count. Johnny Heineken (1,18,1) rounded out the top 6 after kooking it up at the windward mark in race 2.Next week is the iconic Bridge to Bridge race, stay tuned.
