It was a gloriously sunny day in Sylt with crowds lining the beach at the GKA Kite-Surf World Cup Sylt event site. With no wind to work with on the final day of the event, the riders joined forces with local kiters, surfers and SUPers to take part in a 100 person paddle out to raise awareness about ocean pollution. The issue of climate change is impossible to ignore, and the plight of our planet’s oceans is extremely important to the GKA Kite World Tour riders and crew. In this video, the riders deliver a simple message about this serious problem.
