Naish International is pleased to announce a Naish Stand-up paddleboard race on August 1st in Santa Barbara, California. This event runs 11 miles, starting at Goleta Beach (with the option of a shorter (3.5 mile) run that starts at Ledbetter Beach) and finishing at East Beach, and is open to riders of all skill levels. California, an historic center of the surf culture and home to numerous paddle boarding legends, is emerging as one of the hotspots of the Stand-up Paddling. The event is attracting some serious talent, and Hawaiian waterman/Naish rider Dave Kalama will be coming directly from the Molokai Challenge to join the event and be available to answer questions and talk story about this exciting new sport.

Race proceeds will go to benefit www.friendshippaddle.org – check out the website for more information.

Registration for the event can be done at: www.sbendurancepaddlingevents.com

See you there!
