Lighthouse 1,000 presented by Duotone & Baja Joe’s
America’s top athletes are headed to La Ventana for the 2nd annual Lighthouse 1000 race on the 2nd -4th of February 2024.
This year the event is fundraising for Amigos de Alumnos, an organization that helps fund local La Ventana schools.
This year is a bit of a remix from last years event with a substantial upgrade to the famous Lighthouse Race: this year the start will be in front of Baja Joe’s, head out to the lighthouse, around a buoy and back to Baja Joe’s. The Lighthouse Race is open to all divisions.
There will also be a Boarder-X (Cross) Event, which will take participants back to the beginning of kite racing. This two lap course has obstacles that must be jumped with guaranteed entertainment for the spectators. This Race is also open to all divisions.
FRIDAY – Feb 2nd
Friday night is registration at Baja Joe’s 4-9pm
SATURDAY – Feb 3rd
Saturday is the return of BC⚡️DC
Black Velvet will be opening for them at 7pm. Tickets available at Baja Joe’s Coffee Shop everyday – $600 pesos
SUNDAY – Feb 4th
Sunday is the grand conclusion with auction winners and the award ceremony at Baja Joe’s.
AUCTION AND RAFFLE BONANZA
The online auction will begin the week before the event starts. There will be tons of amazing prizes from the event’s sponsors!
Raffles will happen each day on the beach and there will be food on the beach, and drinks available at the bar.
