In its 6th Year of running the Edge Race Cup will host the Kite Race Foil & Formula British Championships. The Kite Race Formula will also be a 50 Point IKA sanctioned event and provides a superb opportunity for the Formula class to ride with Current European & multiple championship winner Olly Bridge on his own spot. Olly leads the ISAF Sailing World Cup Ranking and is using the event as a warm up to the Weymouth Sailing World Cup invitational that happens 9-12th June.
Unique to this years Edge Race Cup, the event sits alongside the ISAF Sailing World Cup and therefore it will attract the worlds Top racers who will compete for the British Championship Tittle. Already, entries have come in from France, Germany, Ireland & Poland.
Alongside this event, the Edge Race Cup hosts the Open Kitesurf class which will involve a distance race, some fun twin tip races & the chance for everyone to get involved on the water.
The weekend’s activity will take place off Exmouth Seafront queens drive car park (the proposed site for the new watersports centre in Exmouth).
Surfers against Sewerage and Big Beach clean to take place on Sunday 7th morning at 9:00am
