Ride Engine is pleased to announce its search to fill a newly-created Brand Manager position has proved fruitful. Gary Siskar, a notable figure in wind and watersports industries, starts his new role May 6th and will join the rest of the 7-Nation crew at headquarters in Hood River, Oregon. 7-Nation owns and operates subsidiaries Ride Engine, Slingshot Sports and Moonshine MFG.
Siskar brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and clout across all levels of the industry to the Ride Engine team. Most recently, he served as the Global Brand Manager for Liquid Force Kiteboarding for nearly a decade. Prior to that he served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Burton Snowboards / Anon Optics and worked his way up the ladder in sales, marketing, and management roles since the early 90’s.
“Gary is a dynamic leader who brings an invaluable skill set to this important role,” Colin Jacobs, 7-Nation COO said. “We are excited to welcome him to the team and are confident his background and experience is exactly what we need to take Ride Engine to the next level.”
Filling this new position is a critical step for Ride Engine, which has seen consistent growth and market influence since joining forces with 7-Nation in 2015. Siskar will work with founder Coleman Buckley and the rest of the team to propel the brand onward and upward with his unique blend of strategic vision, tactical execution and thoughtful market interpretation. A key requirement of the job, Siskar’s passion for water sports and lifestyle are inline and embody that of the Ride Engine brand.
