Registration is now open for the 2015 Virgin Kitesurfing Armada!
The Virgin Kitesurfing Armada brings together kiteboarders from all over the world in an attempt to break a Guinness World Record and raise thousands of dollars for charity!
500 places are now open for kitesurfers to downwind the 15 mile course from Hayling Island to Pagham, while also attempting to break the Guinness World Record title for the ”˜Largest Parade of Kitesurfers’ currently held by the Spanish Kitesurfing Armada. The Armada is open to any intermediate kitesurfers and needs over 352 kitesurfers to break the record!
The Virgin Kitesurfing Armada Festival will take place at Hayling Island on the first windy weekend of 18-20 September, 2-4 October or 16-18 October 2015 and will feature all the best kitesurfing brands exhibiting the latest gear, talks from pro kiters, DJ’s and live music, a bar area, jumbo screen and lots of kitesurfing!
To date, the kitesurfing community has raised over £120,000 for charity through Armada events, and this year, The Armada Trust has been formed to support even more youth and rescue charities.
