Sizes Tested: 8, 12m

BWS Says:

The Noise Pro’s overall simplicity lets you focus on riding the wave not the kite which makes this the most versatile wave riding tool on the Surf/Kite market to date. The Noise Pros deliver unmatched down the line Drift, ‘Consistent Drive’ custom wingtip design and new direct rear line steering enhances rider feedback but eliminates stalling in any part of the wind window especially on the up stroke.

Our Testers Say:

“Most stable kite in the lineup, very comfortable unhooked, with super clean bar design,” Jason Kane.

“For the surf junkies out there, super stable, good pull – great for following the kite down the line, but takes more effort to get upwind [on a twin tip],” Marko Bartscherer.

“Tons of low end power with a comfortable and clean bar, super stable but not the fastest turner,” Dray Murray.

Meet the 2015 TKB Test Team

TKB Says:

The 2015 Noise Pro is a 3-strut medium to lower aspect kite that earned solid praise for its stability, impressive middle of the window drift and user-friendly unhooked performance. The Noise Pro uses the standard 9mm inflation/11m dump valves and features noticeably larger diameter struts, plenty of Dacron for a durable surf construction with a medium length single setting fixed front bridle and single steering setting wingtips. Testers found the Noise Pro to have medium to heavy bar pressure for predictable kite position awareness and good steering response with middle of the road turning speed. The Noise Pro shines with unparalleled drift, solid steering response and impressive depower when riding off the wind or following wind swell. Most testers scored the Noise Pro lower in upwind performance, which would probably be different if testers were riding surfboards rather than twin tips, but overall, testers recommended the Noise Pro as an excellent kite for surf, general freeride and casual freestyle for intermediate and advanced riders.

The Noise Pro comes with the Undertow fixed length bar (43 and 50cm) which features a single center-line safety, low V, fixed length durable plastic depower/throw line, above the bar Clam cleat tuning. The Undertow has a clean and simple push away quick release with travel guard, below bar hand swivel, sleek center routed safety depower, integrated molded bar ends with easy to use winders and no winding bungee. Testers commented on the bar’s plush grip with comfortable ridges and overall simplicity with nice functional features.
