Mystic announced their official partnership with the Red Bull King of the Air event this week.
One of the biggest kiteboarding events in the world is the Red Bull King of the Air, and for many years it has been a contest where the best kiteboarders from all around the globe challenge each other with one mission: to go as big as possible. The format is easy, go big, entertain the crowd, and leave all your fears behind. Originally the event was founded in the waters of Hawaii at Ho’okipa beach. After a break, the legendary event returned to the rough waters of Cape Town South Africa, where howling winds reaching speeds of 45 knots making the ultimate arena for the most extreme contest of the year.
This year, Mystic is the proud clothing and contest jersey partner of the event. Next to Red Bull, Mystic will financially support the event and supply the crew, judges and riders with equipment in order to perform at the highest level.

The waiting period for the event will run January 31st to February 14th. Registration and press conferences will be held at the Mystic House in Blouberg, Cape Town.
