In the last episode of Youri Zoon RECORDED 2011, Youri sets sail to discover the British Virgin Islands. He rips hard at an island called Anegada, and ends up at the closing party of the BVI Kitejam on Richard Branson's private island.

Youri travels a lot, but when he is home, this is how he spends his time. For some kitesurf action, he brings us to a secret spot nearby his home spot Brouwersdam.

Trying to push the boundaries of freestyle, Youri is actively involved in developing products. With every improvement he can push his own style further and bring more power and style to his moves.

In previous years things were different for Youri. To be in the top 5 of the world he considered good enough. But now there is only one thing on his mind.... To become world champion.

Winning doesn't come easy, and it can be stressful when things don't run smoothly. "When I arrived here in Australia, I really wanted to push it and train hard, but then you get back on the water, and it's just a lot of frustration!"

In episode 8 a cover of clouds pull into South Africa, but that doesn't stop Youri from ripping hard at the Plettenberg Bay lagoon.

After winning the second place in the overall PKRA competition of 2009, Youri heads to South Africa. On a road trip he discovers that South Africa has more to offer than just the spots around the Cape Town.

The famous Cauipe lagoon nearby Cumbuco is where it all goes down.

It's a hard living. Dragging yourself to yet another beach or lagoon. Blistering heat, a mouth full of salty water and sand in your bed every night. It's just another day at the office for Youri Zoon.
