Master of the Ocean 2016

This amazing event brings together the finest riders from all over the world who will then have to master all four disciplines of Surfing, Windsurfing, Kiteboarding and SUP to take the title. Not only is this an event for individuals to compete, but it is also for team competition, where teams will roster a mix of both global and local Dominican riders. The teams will fight an epic battle in the wind and waves of Encuentro Beach. Only at this competition, will you see world-class waterman and woman come together to celebrate and play at the only playground on earth that showcases their talents and outstanding personalities. Who will be the next Master of the Ocean?
Originally conceived by Marcus Bohm in 2003, with the idea of providing an opportunity for Dominicans and Dominican residents to compete side by side with international professionals.
