Day 2 of the 2015 Cape Hatteras Wave Classic began with sunny skies and pristine conditions as the NE wind continued to blow in the mid 20’s and the surf continued to increased. The Women’s Round 3 hit the water early in the morning with an incredible level of riding as they continued to impress the crowd and judges throughout the day with stylish wave riding, wave selection and powerful turns. The Men’s Round 3 & 4 competitors took to the ocean performing some insane aerial tricks combined with masterful wave selection. Throughout the afternoon, the winds increased, the surf built and scattered rain showers caused a one-hour rain delay. Highlight of the day goes to Mark Miedama and Evan Netsch in Round 4 who boosted some massive airs in the pouring rain as a strong squall rolled through.
