A Lakeland father and his three sons will be kite boarding 50 miles from Miami to the Florida Keys in March. Not just any ride, their mission is to raise $50,000 to build a self-sustaining home in Tanzania, Africa for 12 orphaned children.
We could have not asked for a better day as the wind was averaging 15 to 20 knots at 10am. First up was racing! A two-lap figure eight course made for exciting racing as the riders dodged one another at over 20 knots!
