2018 Kite Foil Open Regatta – Miami, FL

Adventure Sports is happy to announce a partnership with Coral Reef Yacht Club and the running of the first annual Coral Reef Yacht Club Kite Foil Open regatta. This event will be run out of the Coral Reef Yacht Club in Miami, FL with the support of Adventure Sports, over the dates of Friday November 16th through Sunday November 18th. Registration is now open via Regatta Toolbox.
The regatta is open to all LEI KITES and hydrofoils. Unfortunately our venue does not accommodate the launching/landing of ram air kites, so this event will be restricted to tube kites only, with a maximum sized kite allowed in competition of 15 meters.
A welcome party at the Adventure Sports Shop in Coconut Grove on the evening of Thursday, November 15th, a competitor’s BBQ and party in Coconut Grove on Friday, November 16th, and a competitors’ party at Barracudas in the Grove on Saturday, November 17th.
In addition to the three regatta parties, the event will include three days of racing, prizes, giveaways, and more! In the event that there’s not enough wind to race, we’ll break out the surf foils and get a pumping competition going! Housing will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
