This annual kitesurfing and water sports event held on the beautiful South Pacific island of Aitutak showcases the culture and beauty of the Cook Islands. A full week of ocean activity is in store for competitors, starting with the kiteboarding freestyle event and course racing competitions. Also included in the weeks activities will be a swimming, stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) and outrigger canoe races, in addition to a ton of fun events. The Manureva Aquafest will host the Kite Kids Program, a kite making competition for the local kids of Rarotonga and Aitutaki. On Friday at the closing awards ceremony, this years overall Aqua Men’s and Women’s winner will be crowned and will feature a mouth watering BBQ along with the “Ura”, a traditional Polynesian dance performance.
