Cabrinha Says:

The Special Agent is a freeride foilboard like no other. It has been freshly designed for riders wanting performance and simplicity in one easy to use foilboard. The UD carbon, fiberglass construction added to a geometric stringer from tip to tail gives incredible stiffness and responsiveness. The reduction in sizing is made comparable to bigger boards due to an advanced new outline that maximizes its length while the bottom shape adds volume and float to your ride.

The full EVA deck pad with kick tail allow complete freedom of movement and direct board control. Riders using footstraps can utilize the 2 or 3 strap configuration for a fully customizable ride.

The industry standard 9cm new adjustable foil tracks come complete with integrated T-nuts allowing you to finely tune the mast position.

Tkb Says:

New for this year Cabrinha has released the Special Agent foilboard which fuses user-friendly handling with simple twin tip construction that gives the user a ton of durability. We tested the larger of the two board sizes, which is probably geared more to progression-oriented riders, while the smaller version will be more geared towards intermediate-advanced riders. The 125cm board presents a novel outline that has a wide scoop on the nose that tapers into the tail and molded deck with a raised hump down the center that works to add extra stiffness to the deck. There’s very little rocker built into the board and the rails have a subtle bevel to help stabilize accidental touchdowns. The mast track features non-removable inserts and a visual guide to get your mast set up in the same place every time (imagine never having to worry about your T-nuts slipping out and missing a session). The Special Agent comes with three forward/aft insert options with both a centered and ducked stance option for the front foot and center options for the back foot. Decked with a full diamond pad tip to tail and a kick at the end, you get to place your feet wherever you want.

The first thing we noticed right off the bat was the 125s easy waterstart. With minimal volume, the board sinks a bit, but the ample surface area in the nose is plenty to get going in the lightest wind conditions. We were really impressed with how the straight rail goes from a starting waterstart position, rolls up and over into forward motion and releases cleanly from the water. Sometimes low volume boards can be a bit more of a struggle to get going in lighter wind””this board’s longer length was quick and easy to get up and going with a seamless takeoff. Even though the 125 is a little bigger it still feels like you’re riding a magic carpet. The molded bump in the deck does a great job of adding extra stiffness to the deck and the board seems to transfer your inputs directly into the wing below, better than similarly constructed boards in the market. The straight rail heading back to the tail along with a slight bevel worked great for deflecting accidental touchdowns without disturbing the foil’s direction of travel. The lack of rocker or scoop in the nose doesn’t give you much protection against aggressive porpoise-diving but works great for minimal mistakes. Whether your skill level is matched for the 125 or 105, the Special Agent is a super durable freeride foil platform that blends user-friendly performance with some unique attributes that make it a great value for riders of all levels.
