It was 5am on a Friday morning 20°c in Mendoza City when Ivo Pionetti, Rodrigo Romero and a small group of riders all met together at the gas station to start their road trip to the unknown adventure. All the riders were really anxious and nervous at the same time; some of them had never experienced snowkiting before, they had only watched videos. “Is it hard?” Some of them asked. After 5 hours on the road and a customs check, the group found themselves at the border between Chile and Argentina. Arriving at this breathtaking spot full of snow, they could see 4 domes surrounded by small water mirrors. In advance spring, being in that place with that view, felt like kiting on Mars.
