In this episode, Tom Court explains how to reduce any humming noise that your foil might make. Every foil is different regardless of brand, and some can start humming for no apparent reason. Greece or dirt on the wing can cause a humming noise when used at speed. You shouldn’t have to sand much, it’s just to rub the trailing edge surfaces clean and change the friction profile for the hydrodynamics.
