Airush Says:

If you’re looking for a compact carbon solution, the Team Foil board is an extremely fun and skatey board for advanced freeride users riding strapped or strapless. The refined bottom shape features beveled rails in the tail with a release edge merging to the convex nose bottom shape for soft touchdowns at any angle. Configuration for footstraps can be set as a three-strap setup with offset front straps or with a single front strap.

Tkb Says:

This board comes with ample insert options that allow you to choose between two or three footstrap riding configurations. There are two forward/aft options for the front footstrap mounting and two forward/aft options for the back footstrap. The Team Foilboard comes with a full deck pad that extends waffle EVA all the way to the nose while the deck offers a fairly flat surface with a subtle concave, but no kick pad on the tail. The Team offers a mixed rocker with a fairly flat mid-section for efficiency, low rocker in the tail and a bit more rocker in the nose for friendly touchdowns. The rails have a good amount of chine and the template is fairly narrow with the wider section farther forward and the tail being narrower. The Team Foilboard comes with mast tracks for dialing in the perfect mast position.

The first thing we noticed about the Team Foilboard was how luxuriously light this construction feels in your hand as you walk to the water. The construction feels light and stiff which makes all your input and responses on the water feeling exciting, crisp and reactive. The Team Foilboard offers a medium amount of flotation which we found quite perfect for making strapless waterstarts easy. The Team’s size falls on the performance side of kitefoiling, but its surface area offered up enough planing for easy waterstarts with the efficient bottom shape readily disconnecting from the water’s surface. On super hot upwind legs, the chined rail helped during accidental rail touchdowns with the chop as the rail slices through the unwanted contact without grabbing the board or upsetting your course. The Team is a really precise high-end tool that works great for screaming fast speed runs and aggressive carving with its lightweight and impeccable input response. While the Team Foilboard will work fine for smaller or medium-sized beginners, we think intermediate and advanced foilers will appreciate this design the most for its smaller template and the crisp performance you get with this incredibly lightweight and highly reactive foil deck.
