Slingshot Says:
The Celeritas is the most versatile all-around board on our lineup, ideal for riders who want one option that can do everything well. The Celeritas features a stout body, curved outline and mild rocker. The result is a stable board that planes easily, performs great in light wind and slower speeds and carves upwind well. The Celeritas’ rounded thumb tail and three-fin configuration give it a snappy feel, while far-back stomp pad and foot strap inserts give riders the ability to position themselves directly over the rear fins for aggressive handling and locked-in turning.

Tkb Says:
The Celeritas is one of the original production surfboards from the early days of the kitesurfing renaissance and has enjoyed a long tenure as one of the go-to models for all around surf and freeriding within the Slingshot family of boards. The Celeritas features the FCS II fin system and a fairly middle of the road rocker that makes this board both efficient and user-friendly in the chop. Testers gave the Celeritas high praise for it’s quick planing and excellent upwind ability. On the lighter days the 5’11” Celeritas was always one of the first boards out of the shed and on the water and on the days with bigger chop and smaller waves the 5’8” was the choice for carving tight turns in the rolling pockets and stomping fun airs out of the bigger steps. The Celeritas features a sturdy construction that will take all your beatings and an almost full length pad that offers excellent traction in all the right places. The stomp pad has a nice kick tail so your back foot is in place on more aggressive moves and to fend off the dreaded splits. With just the right density, Slingshot’s pads offer a tad of softness in feel without interfering with the rider’s control and feedback from the board.
