Tonia Farman’s successful kiteboarding school, Cascade Kiteboarding, in Hood River has expanded into La Ventana, Mexico as the on-site kite school at Palapas Ventana Kiteboarding resort.
The two businesses have been partnering for 8 years with women’s kite camps, clinics and helping eachother’s events — the La Ventana Classic and Kiteboard 4 Cancer. The combination of power team Tim Hatler and Tonia Farman to create the best kiteboarding resort experience in Baja was a very natural and effective one.
Cascade brings nine years of experience teaching in the Columbia Gorge, with a high level of safety and progression expertise to the La Ventana area. Palapas Ventana is often known as a custom ‘ocean adventure resort’ with amazing food, cozy bungalows, and watersports for all seasons — a perfect combination with Cascade Kiteboarding.
