The premier kitesurfing competition of North America returns to the shores of Cape Hatteras. Top kiters focusing solely on surf-style riding will compete in the powerful Outer Banks surf for their chance to be crowned the champion of the 2016 Cape Hatteras Wave Classic. This is an OPEN kitesurfing competition taking place September 17th-23rd, when the northeast winds and high swell season arrive on Cape Hatteras.
