The 2016 Liquid Force Drive features a single concave construction with a simple contourless bottom. The Drive feels lighter and a hair skatier than the Legacy, part of that is the greater flex pattern and the simple bottom shape. The Drive features straighter template rails compared to the Legacy and this board rocketed upwind through the worst of La Ventana’s chop. The Drive’s flex is perfect for beginner and intermediate freestylers learning to load and pop and the landings are super forgiving. The Drive setup features three stance options and four holes for adjusting the duck stance. Although the pad material is similar to those that come with the Legacy, testers found that the straps weren’t as form fitting and the foot pad while comfortable did not feature a toe bump or as much texture.
