AXIS Says:

The Limited is our highest performance kiteboard. It’s the AXIS of awesome. Made like a sandwich of the most expensive stuff we could find in our pursuit of perfection, the 2016 Limited retains the outline, channels and rocker of the 2015 model, but we have radically redesigned the profile with our new FAT Rail. Thick and rounded in the centre and tapering to fine tips, the FAT Rail gives a more stable, settled and balanced ride, while dramatically increasing the strength of the board. Don’t be fooled by its milder manners on the water, this baby is ready to load and explode.

Beneath the surface of the 100% biaxial carbon fiber top and bottom is a solid Paulownia wood core. A beefed up 12mm ABS wall makes for a stronger rail that tracks and releases beautifully while carefully placed uni-directional carbon controls flex at the tips.

Tkb Says:

The Limited is AXIS’ top of the line performance model is back for another year with its standard high tech carbon/Paulownia construction but featuring all new fatter, semi-rolled rails in the mid section of the board. The Limited features five holes for adjusting duck in the bindings and three options for adjusting stance width. The Limited and the Vanguard are very similar in template and bottom shape but feature different construction methods that make the Limited feel like it has a very user friendly but effective flex pattern. The quad concave and bottom contours deliver a nice mix between tracking and skatiness for an all around fun board that delivers in the load and pop department while being fun and easy to use for freeride. The pad/footbed is the same as those offered on the other Axis boards with a firm but comfy rubbery textured grip under foot, and comes with the traction + straps that feature quad Velcro adjustment for a comfy all encompassing feel.
