Goodwinds Hosts the 1st Annual Dorado Kite Experience Event At Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve
Goodwinds at Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is pleased to announce the first annual Dorado Kite Experience (DKE) event to be held the weekend of January 28 – 31, 2016. The intimate weekend celebration will feature kitesurf clinics for beginners to advanced riders, luxurious dinner parties, business conferences and award winning Ritz-Carlton Reserve accommodations.

Organized by Goodwinds co-owner and Windsurf Olympian Karla Barrera-Morstad, the event will offer a variety of programs and activities that cater to different levels of kitesurf experience – from private lessons for beginners to advanced clinics that include wave riding, foil boarding, freestyle kite surfing and more. The co-owner of Goodwinds and current Woo’s Highest Jump World Record holder, Phil Morstad, in conjunction with Goodwinds’ Head Instructor and professional kitesurfer, Andy Hurdman, will lead the kitesurf portion of the event and Goodwind’s team of 11 professional IKO instructors.

Mixing kitesurfing with networking, the Dorado Kite Experience will be held at the luxurious Dorado Beach Resort and its 1400 acre Great Park and TPC championship golf course. The event will also include morning coffee talks and networking events that focus on the Act 20 & 22 tax incentives and business opportunities in Puerto Rico, presented by an elite roster of keynote speakers, among them Gabriel Hernandez, Co-Founder of BDO Puerto Rico.
