Beginning Saturday, September 26, 2015, the biggest kiteboarding charity event on the East Coast, the 6th Annual Dream Extreme, will kick-off in East Hampton, New York. Dream Extreme is truly a one-of-a-kind event. While there are kiteboarding races and expos that raise funds for charity, none combine a two-day kiteboarding clinic, beach bash, gala dinner and auction, plus world-class instruction.

Participants are invited to join the weekend in the Hamptons with fashion designer Nicole Miller, philanthropist Bonnie Pfeifer Evans, and Top NYC surgeon Stacey Silvers. Also joining are Honorees Hunter Allen, Vice President of Enterprise Sales for Salesforce.com; Marina Chang, Publisher of the Kiteboarder Magazine; and Director of Administration Chairman’s Office Weiss Multi Strategy Advisers Marie Reme. Hosted by New York’s PIX-11 Reporter Dr. Steve Salvatore, Dream Extreme brings together established leaders in business, philanthropy, fashion, art, sports, and New York society. KITEBOARDING CLINICS
Whether you’re learning to ride or improving your skills, Dream Extreme offers clinics with an impressive list of world champion riders and professional coaches from around the world. For non-kiting attendees, the daytime itinerary includes other activities such as stand-up paddle boarding, yoga, massage, BBQ and live music.
THE CAUSE
Over the past five years Dream Extreme has raised more than $750,000 to support women and children affected by domestic violence and incarceration. For 2015, Dream Extreme will benefit Hour Children, whose mission is to stop the cycle of intergenerational incarceration, helping incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women and their children successfully rejoin the community, reunify with their families, and build healthy, independent and secure lives. The majority of women incarcerated are mothers and primary caretakers of children under 18 years old. The consequences are overwhelmingly negative for children, often ending up in foster care. Dream Extreme Founder, Linda Argila has a history of overcoming challenges. From a year in prison to building a career in philanthropy, her love for kiteboarding led her to create this event.
