CRAZYFLY Cruiser Pro
Sizes Available: 135, 145cm
Sizes Tested: 145x48cm

CrazyFly Says:

Cruiser Pro is a light wind machine with proven shape and construction. The name sums it up perfectly: Cruising around, having fun and enjoying the ride even in the lightest winds. But of course, this board is more than that: Due to its unique core construction and extremely light layers of carbon, the Cruiser Pro can also be seriously abused. The very well balanced medium flex of this board suits intermediate and advanced riders, it rides comfortably in choppy waters and the flat rocker and narrower tips ensure that it is an incredible light wind board.

The Cruiser has the lightest and strongest wood core in our entire range, which is reinforced with carbon ensuring that the board is very light – even in the bigger sizes.

Our Testers Say:

“This is a great light wind board which marches upwind and tracks really well. It’s got good pop but can be a little stiff on the landings. It also does well in surf despite its shape, but it stands out for better light wind performance than most of the other twin tips and did it while being fun,” Clint Sterba.

Tkb Says:

The 145cm Cruiser Pro comes in two different widths, (44cm vs 48cm) and we tested the wider version in the light winds of San Diego. Testers praised the Cruiser Pro for its easy water starts, and a good balance between good light wind performance and freestyle fun. Testers found the Cruiser Pro’s wood core offers a fairly stiff flex with good load and pop, but unlike the longer Cruiser LW, this board is more fun for freestyle tricks and rotations. The bottom is fairly flat and doesn’t have a ton of grip but is still overall a very good option for someone who would like a dedicated light wind board that can still deliver some freestyle fun.
