The 13th annual KiteXpo started off on Friday with an enthusiastic crowd of kiteboarders on hand at Pismo Beach, California. With over 12 kite brands particating in the three day event, kiteboarders from all over the state and beyond got a chance to test out the latest kites, boards and accessories.
Consistent 12-15 knots winds by 2pm and playfull waist high surf made for a wonderful day on the beach. With a great forecast expected today and tomorrow, a large proportion of kiteboarders from the West Coast are expected to to attend the remaining two days. Today more demos are expected to take place along with a safety clinic, a kitefoil & a strapless kitesurf clinic.
