As the do-all kite in the Airush range, the Lithium has been proven to meet the requirements of riders looking to do a bit of everything from freeride, jumping, looping and waves. With amazing park power, stability and ease of use, the Lithium is simply the perfect kite

The Delta Hybrid design in conjunction with the V3 bridle gives the Airush kite direct and pivotal turning, with a great balance of speed and response with steering that is light, but direct enough to feel where your kite is while riding.

Our Testers Say:

“Very good “sheet in and go” power with a lot of throw for quick and easy depower. Good boost and hangtime on the 9m while the 14m was soooooooo smooth,” Aaron Stephens.

“Super easy kite to fly, lots of low end power and easy sheet in and go feel while fun and easy to boost airs on. Kite is stable and a great platform to learn tricks,” Dray Murray.

“Fast efficient kite with steady pull and jumps well, the 7m was quite comfortable in strong conditions,” Davey Beard.

AIRUSH-LITHIUM-2015-GEAR-REVIEW-02

TKB Says:

The 2015 Lithium is a 3-strut Delta Hybrid that Airush markets as their all around freeride jack of all trades. This year the Lithium received an updated large flow Boston valve that requires the larger inflation nozzle, medium length 2-setting front bridles with pulleys and 3 wingtip steering settings. The construction is solid with Airush’s Aramid reinforced airframe and Teijin double ripstop canopy. Testers liked the Lithium’s medium bar pressure, good boost and hangtime performance, solid relaunch and all around easy sheeting that our testers felt would work great for beginning to intermediate kiters.

AIRUSH-LITHIUM-BAR-2015-GEAR-REVIEW-04

The Lithium comes with the Smart Bar 6 which offers 4 telescoping length settings (62-55-52-45cm) in one bar, a plastic depower/throw line, sliding stopper, single center-line safety depower, low V, above the bar depower strap with extension handles and a compact push away quick release with a below the bar hand swivel that doubles as a quick release guard. The Tkb testers like the durability of the plastic coated depower/throw line that integrates an adjustable stopper for cruise control. A few reviewers commented on the busy depower handles, but the tuning controls and strap worked very well and allow for the winning combo of larger adjustable length throw and above the bar tuning. The telescoping bar is incredibly easy to adjust but we recommend making changes when you’re on land as the bar ends can be completely removed. The Tkb testers liked the density of the bar grip with raised bumps, and while one tester commented on the smaller size of the hand swivel this compact quick releases design keeps the throw close to the rider. Overall, this bar received very high marks for its features, function and comfort.
