Our Testers Say:

“Fun, fast, deep in the window, very strong for its size; tuning depower is easy and user-friendly. No flutter, easy to use boost with good punch and still goes upwind well with medium to heavy bar pressure,” Stan Michaylov.

“This kite felt good from the moment I got on it with great pull, super stable and good upwind ability in lighter wind,” Michael Doucet.

Huge hang time on this kite rivals the best in the test. Good low-end grunt and solid stability with quick pivotal turning. Solid all around kite with great wave and freeride potential,” Aaron Stephens.

Meet the 2015 TKB Test Team.

TKB Says:

The Rabbit 3.0 is a low aspect 3-strut freeride machine that uses the standard 9mm/11m dump valves for inflation, a three setting shorter length front bridle and five steering settings on the wingtip. Testers gave the RG3.0 high marks for its stability, user-friendly boosting, and low-end grunt coupled with good upwind ability. Testers also found the Rabbit to have medium to heavier bar pressure, but with the steering setting in the middle of the five settings on the wingtip, there’s room for adjustment. Overall, the RG3.0 received excellent scores and was hailed as a super fun freeride kite that put a smile on most faces.

The redesigned RG 3.0 bar is a fixed length bar that features a single center-line safety depower, plastic coated depower/throw line with center routed safety, above the bar clam cleat tuning, above the bar swivel, and a low V. The push away quick release has a wide stance harness loop for easy unhooking and quick release travel guard. The foam integrated floats/bar ends feature a clean retractable winding bungee, with plenty of space for easy line winding and tuneable outside lines. Testers found the bar grip comfortable and gave the feature-rich yet simple layout of the bar high marks.
