Red Bull King of the Air will be back to Cape Town’s Big Bay in 2015 for the third year running! The one-day event is scheduled to take place between January 31-February 15 2015 to ensure optimal wind conditions for the world’s best kiters as they take to the skies. They’ll battle head-to-head in the ”˜flag out’ big air competition format in pursuit of the crown.

At last year’s event, 12,000 people watched on as Kevin Langeree (NED) edged out his competitors Ruben Lenten (NED) and Steven Akkersdijk (NED) in a extreme event that saw huge airs and even bigger wipeouts.

The top competitors from 2014 will return and wildcards, selected from online entries and social voting at www.redbullkingoftheair.com will round up the 24 participant line-up.

Invited Riders include Kevin Langeree (NED), Ruben Lenten (NED), Steven Akkersdijk (NED), Andries Fourie (RSA), Aaron Hadlow (GBR), Jesse Richman (USA), Tom Herbert (FRA), Billy Parker (USA), Nick Jacobsen (DEN), Reno Romeu (BRA), Gianni Aragno (ESP), and Jerrie van de Kop (NED).
