The first competitive riding for the 2014 Venyu Real Triple-S started at 2:30 EST today. Competitors pumped up their largest kites, with 15 and 17m kites littering the grassy lawns of the event site. Event organizers are hoping to get through all the Park and Slider division heats today because the forecast for tomorrow is for gale force winds. Riders like Sam Bell have pumped up everything in their quiver, down to the 7m in anticipation of this afternoon’s stronger winds.
