Day Two of the PKRA event on Soma Bay began with what appeared to be a nice repeat of the previous morning: warm weather, clear skies and nice, moderate sea breezes. However, sadly, it just wasn’t to be. By 10 am what little wind there was had all but fizzled out to nothing with no chance of even finishing the first heat.

Lucky for the riders, there are lots of other interesting things to fill the time on Soma Bay. Some went scuba diving, snorkling, wakeboarding, swimming in the sea and playing water polo in the resort pool, while others simply took it as an opportunity to catch up on much-needed R&R after a long first day of competition.

Tomorrow’s forecast is looking better minute by minute, with locals and crew quite hopeful that part of the competition will run tomorrow. Keep up to date on the action by Livestream.
