The latest updates for the 2014 season include the confirmation of a scheduled tour stop in Fuerteventura, Spain, and the cancelation of two events in both the Dominican Republic and Turkey.

The Fuerteventura Kiteboarding PKRA Grand Slam confirms the event for July 19-24th and will feature both slalom and freestyle disciplines. In its 13th consecutive year, this event is famous for its strong winds and exciting conditions, making this event thrilling for both riders and spectators alike.

The anticipated return of the Cabarete Kitesurf World Cup is unfortunately cancelled, citing budget constraints in time for the event.  Organizers are optimistic for a return in the future of what would be the 10th PKRA stop at Bozo Beach in beautiful Cabarete.

Also canceled is the second slalom stop of the year in Istanbul, Turkey. Organizers of the event regret that due to economic and political issues in the region, the Burn Kiteboarding World Cup will not take place in 2014. Next year will hopefully see the return of this event.

By May 15th we will likely see further updates and additions to the 2014 tour schedule. Visit the PKRA website for more information.
