Starting with a completely new approach, we dialed in the Vision’s flex pattern to deliver outstanding pop and soft landings, regardless of whether you are riding boots or footstraps. The Vision’s outline and chined rails prevents spray by focusing
the water down and away from the rider. With the addition of laser cutting technology we were able to create the first ever “bonzer” channel configuration on a full wood-core board. Combined with a continuous rocker line that delivers smooth turns and landings while still providing maximum edge control and maneuverability, the 2014 Vision is built with the “legendary Slingshot construction” using only the highest-quality and greenest materials available.

The 2014 Vision is built in the USA and features innovative bottom channels laser cut directly into the all wood core, continuous rocker, Slingshot’s Fastrack which offers riders a huge amount of stance width adjustment and plenty of options for setting duck. Testers praised the Vision for its smooth ride through La Ventana’s chop and it’s stiffer flex for loading the board up for impressive pop on jumps. Overall, the Vision is a fun board that works equally well for freeriding and advanced wakestyle riding.
Our test boards were shipped with Slingshot’s Bolt-Ons straps and pad system. The straps slip through the pad base for a simple and easy installation with a single Velcro strap for adjustment. Testers found the medium density pads comfortable while delivering a solid balance between control and plushness. Testers found the straps easy to adjust but our female testers commented that they wished the straps would adjust smaller for petite feet.
