RRD announced this week that 7x World Champion and 9x World Snow Kite Master Kari Schibevaag has officially joined the RRD International Kiteboarding team.

Kari is a rider from Norway and loves all kinds of sports, although lately — most of her energy is spent on kiting. She divides her time between snow kiting and kitesurfing, competing in both sports and winning world titles in each. She’s spending more and more hours on the water of late, spreading the love for kiteboarding through kite clinics in locations around the world.

Kari Schibevaag is currently in South Africa at the moment with Roberto and the RRD kiteboarding crew.  After having signed a new contract she said:

“I am really happy to be in the team and I’m really enjoying riding the gear in SA now. Its a great team with great equipment and a lot of nice people. I am really happy to be in RRD!”
