The young Dutch kite-rookie of the year, Jerrie van den Kop, signed a two year contract with Roberto Ricci Designs (RRD) in Cape Town this month.

As the newest RRD Team Rider, Jerrie will take part in the PKRA freestyle tour this year and contribute to the development of a new Obsession PRO MKII kite with RRD kite designer Werther Castelletti. A new line of RRD boards specifically designed for hardcore freestyle contests is also in the works.

Jerrie arrives at RRD with a number of prestigious titles under his belt, including Dutch National Champion 2013, Winner of the Red Bull Megaloop Challenge 2013 and European Junior Champion in 2010 and 2011. We look forward to seeing where Jerrie will go in 2014 with RRD.
