The trailer is out, and Youri Zoon‘s latest 3-part project, Forward: Legacy of a World Champion, is due to release its first episode on April 18, 2013.
Forward is the story of an athlete who fought his whole life to be the best kitesurfer in the world. When he finally won the world title in 2011, Youri Zoon found himself in a new place. The webseries was shot during one month in Cape Town but also shows footage of Youri during the competitive season. In Cape Town, EyEFORcE was the first ever to film kiteboarding with a high speed camera. Shooting up to 1500 frames per second, the Phantom camera they used was able to capture the beauty of Youri’s style like never before.
