As a functional swimwear brand whose primary purpose is to support female athletes within watersports, SENSI Bikinis is excited to debut their 2nd collection, Indian Summer. “This first year we saw a huge response from the kiteboarding community and have started more serious introductions into surf and SUP,” said owner/designer Sensi Graves.
The brand, who’s mission is to provide flirty, fun, and yet entirely wearable and supportive swimwear for kiters, surfers, and all-around waterwomen, launched in January of 2012 to much fanfare within the kiting community and hopes to broaden their reach this coming year.
The second collection stays true to the style of SENSI with chic simplicity and even carryovers some of the top selling styles from 2012. However within this collection you’ll see more flirty although wearable pieces and trend-based elements that do not interfere with a woman’s ability to be active.
The 2013 collection introduces a collage of new colors and much ability to mix and match pieces. The bikinis-each named for a girlfriend- represent the femininity which we embrace, support and seek to exude in each of our pieces. From native prints and bright, bold solids to the basic, clean lines of our sports-inspired pieces, they will make you smile and help you rip.
The title of the collection, Indian Summer, represents the carefree days and long summer nights on which we thrive. The hours spent driving down the coast in search of that perfect wave and those fleeting minutes of sunshine disappearing under the water as you kite back to shore.
