The 2012 Pismo Beach Kite Expo came to a close yesterday after three full days of excellent kiteboarding conditions.

The final day of the event started early with light wind that built throughout the day. By early afternoon most riders were on 9-10m kites.
The 10 vendors on hand were kept very busy rigging, launching, and landing more kites this weekend than during any previous Pismo Kite Expo. During the height of activity on Sunday, more than 80 kites were counted on the water.
After a full day of riding, the event was capped off with a big raffle as the wind finally died down. We want to thanks everyone who came out to the 2012 Pismo Kite Expo for showing your support for this great cause!
