The 2011 Kiteboard 4 Cancer, powered by the John Wayne Cancer Foundation and Athletes for Cancer, is the largest amateur kiteboarding event in the world and heading into its 5th year! KB4C is the main event of the new Tenacity Games — a multi-day, multi-sport adventure fundraiser for regional cancer programs and Athletes for Cancer’s cancer survivorship program!!

The Kite Derby Endurance Race, the original and cornerstone event of Kiteboarding 4 Cancer continues to challenge racers endurance, determination, and mental tenacity for 6-hours. The most challenging event in the 3-day fundraiser, the Kite Derby will demand the most out of the most physically and mentally fit athletes.

This year’s kiteboarding event adds more spice and fun than ever before with the addition of the 1st ever Team Kite Relay Race, a test of speed, strategy, and team cooperation in addition to sprinting kiteboarding skills! The Kite Team Relay will take place on Sunday, the day after the Kite Derby Endurance Race. More info on this event will be available soon via the organizer’s website  blog – https://athletes4cancer.wordpress.com/
