Today the wind was light in La Ventana, but the day was still full of activities. This morning started off when around 30 women loaded into three boats and headed of to Isla Cerralvo, about 11 miles offshore of La Ventana for a Women’s Clinic organized by Marie Leclerc and Laura Maher. While the wind never filled in out on the island, a good time was had by all and the clinic was finished off with happy hour margaritas at Baja Joe’s back in La Ventana. Also today the two day race clinic with Adam and Andrew Koch got started at Palapas Ventana.

After the sun went down, the world premier of Nate Appel’s new kiteboarding movie was held at Playa Central. Present Tense featured some of the most progressive riding we’ve ever seen, so you’ll definitely want to check this one out.

After the premier, a rag-tag bunch climbed into the Palapas Ventana beach machine (a very fine tuned vehicle, not one to be weighed down by unnecessary items such as a driver door) for a tour of the hot dog stands of La Ventana. All I can say is that it was an experience. Stay tuned for the video.
