While today wasn’t quite as windy as the last few, today was another good day for kiteboarding in La Ventana. This small town in the Baja desert is quickly filling to capacity with kiteboarders and kiteboarding industry people. La Ventana has to be one of the few places in the word where kiteboarders can be walking down a remote dirt road and run in to other kiters they know.

While the wind was not as nuclear as it has been for the last few days, riders were still able to get out on 7-12m kites. Brendan Richards (Caution) and Mark 2Dog (Baja Joe’s) put on a successful strapless riding clinic with a group of riders who were excited to get tips from two of the top strapless riders in town.

Excitement is building for the main event to get underway, which gets underway Thursday. Rumors have been floating around of Neil Hutchinson and Baja Joe getting the event off to an entertaining start.
