So, this summer we’re conducting a worldwide search for the three girls who best capture the spirit of Best Kiteboarding with their athleticism, commitment to a healthy outdoor lifestyle, interest in kiteboarding, and natural beauty.
Three winners will be chosen to take part in a professional photo shoot by renowned fashion photographer Michael Williams. Michael has done work for most major magazines, including GQ, Esquire, Maxim, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Marie Claire, and Glamour.

The photo shoot will take place this Fall during our Annual Best Fest, a five day celebration in Brazil, one of the world’s most exciting kiteboarding destinations. At Best Fest we’ll preview our new product lineup in the most insane conditions on the planet, and our International Team of professional riders will be on hand to offer tips and explain product features.
The three winners will be provided free travel to Brazil and accommodations while there. In addition to receiving worldwide exposure from the calendar and other promotional events, they will also be introduced by Michael to top modeling agencies, and will receive digital copies of photos from the shoot for their portfolios.
Most important, our winners will also be given free lessons at the Best Kiteboarding Center in NY, with Kristin Boese’s KB4Girls or at one of our worldwide schools. To participate in the search, each contestant may submit up to 6 photographs of herself, including at least one full body swimsuit shot and one headshot. All entrants must also submit a brief written statement, up to 50 words in length, to help convince the panel that she meets the criteria for selection better than anyone else. The winners will be chosen by a panel of experts from the fashion and sports industries on August 16th, 2010.
