The forecast looks great for this weekend! On top of 22 companies exhibiting and offering demos of their 2010 gear and accessories, we have some excellent clinics to help you step up your game in racing, strapless riding and surf. All clinics will be held daily at 11am under the Monster tent and will last approximately one hour.
Friday, 11a: Racing Clinic with Sandy Parker of Kit’opia/RRD/Live2Kite
Fresh from the North American Kite Racing Championship in Mexico and prepping for the Worlds in Corpus Christi, TX, April 21-25, Sandy will share what’s happening on the racing scene and answer any questions you might have about gear, course strategy and how to get a racing series started in your local area.
Sat, 11a: Strapless Riding and Airs Clinic with Brendan Richards/Caution and Bear Kearny/Cameron Biehl of Airush
Get tips from the pros on how to get started and progress your strapless riding style on directionals and skims. This clinic will also cover basic first strapless air moves you’ll want to try to take your strapless riding up notch.
Sunday 11a: Advanced Surf Clinic with Ben Wilson/Slingshot
update 3/16: Due to a cyclone forecast approaching Ben’s house in Oz, he will not be able to make it to the event for the clinic. We may get Caution/Airush Clinic with Brendan Richards, Bear Kearny and Cameron Biehl to take over the advanced surf clinic on Sunday in addition to their strapless riding and airs clinic on Saturday. Will post when more info available.
