Presented by the 2 Legends Boardstores, the Battle of the Paddle – the first ever stand-up paddle contest on Lake Zurich – will be held Saturday, July 18, in conjunction with the Beach Party Horgen. About 48 paddlers will compete in groups of 6, with the 3 fastest in each race advancing to the next round. No previous experience is necessary, and there will be six Naish SUP boards available for the triangle race. Registration is on-site at 12 o’clock, start will be at 12.30 sharp, and finals will take place at 7pm.
There will also be free SUP Boards available to try out, so come on down to lake Zurich and experience this new sport for yourself.
