King Of Kite 2015

This 4th and 5th of July, 2015, the legendary Ruben Lenten will be rocking the kitesurfing scene in Cyprus and hosting the King of Kite 2015. This is an annual Cyprus Kitesurfing Championship that consists of a slalom and freestyle competition, and ends in the crowning of the King of Kite. Ruben Lenten will host the event, showcase a crazy trick demo, judge the competition and lead multiple workshops.

The event pulls in a eager crowd that encourages local and international kitesurfers to give it their best and show off what they’ve got! Throughout the weekend, there will be DJs on rotation, food, drinks and lots of activities.

The event aims to be a super exciting weekend, full of action on the water, and will help to push kitesurfing in Cyprus and put it on the kitesurfing hotspot map. It truly is a hidden gem in the kitesurfing world… long shallow sandy beaches, warm flat water, no coral and consistent thermal winds ranging between 17-22 knots daily.
