4th Annual Hood River Huck Fest 2016

The Hood River Huck Fest is an annual locally hosted event for kiters of the Columbia Gorge, attracting riders from all over the world to Rufus, OR. The event turns a bland pile of rocks by the river into a bustling scene of kiters boosting as big as the wind will let them.
Using GPS motion tracker device to capture the riders hight, competitors get a designated time on the water for each heat, during which time the goal is simply to jump as high as possible. Data from the devices is recorded and downloaded and at the end of the day the riders who logged the highest jumps win the contest.
