After seven events on five continents all the results are in: Youri Zoon (NED, Slingshot) and Gisela Pulido (ESP, Airush) are the 2011 world champions. PKRA New Caledonia: Alex Pastor Wins the Noumea Kitesurf Pro

The final heats of the 2011 PKRA season took place at the Nissan Noumea Kitesurf Pro, New Caledonia in perfect conditions with a solid twenty knots of wind. The double elimination was completed today, Alex Pastor (ESP, Airush) won the event in the men’s category and Asia Litwin in the women’s.

PKRA New Caledonia: Trials and Singles in Noumea

The Nissan Noumea Kitesurf Pro started with light wind and a few rain showers but we quickly saw the sun come out and twenty knots of wind. In the morning the trials competition started to qualify the sixteen men who will go on into the main event and face the top eight riders in the world. The trials were dominated by local riders and Australians. In the afternoon the weather cleared up and the first two rounds of men were completed.
